Your Hares: Stubby and Schnapps

Your Christmas Host: Topless

Location: TBA

Time: 5 PM Sunday 4 December 2016

Our last run:
For some the pain was too much and they had to take it lying down. Well it was a super run which took up up and down ever hill in Bardon. There was one pool of water on the way and Tess made the most of it, most of us enjoyed her efforts to shower us. So it was little wonder that Lost and Found had to lie down and think about it.

XXXX was our Hare and Crown Larger did the catering which was some yummy roast pork. Thanks to all, great evening.

Next Run - Sunday 6th November 2016 at 5pm.

Your Hares: XXXX and Crown Larger

Location: Bowman Park, Car Chiswick Rd and Simpsons Rd, Bardon

Time: SUMMER is here so its 5pm

Your Hares say that you will meander through the creeks, hill and the leafy suburbs of Bardon! Sounds too good to be true, so come and join them. On On.

At our last run:
Tail had volunteered to set her first trail for the SH3 Inc, so we gathered outside her hide away in Jay Park. We were lead through parks and open fields on a well marked trail that had some cunning check backs. Several hounds had come from far flung places and commented on the fact that they had not run in this area before, all enjoyed the experience. There were several new Hashers that Sunday, we enjoyed your humour and look forward to seeing you again.
We thanked the Hare for her efforts in the traditional way.
Flower proved to us that she can sing with her eyes closed.
Three hounds having fun, well we all did. Our thanks go to Tail for her trail and the delicious food that she put on for us. On On

Samford HHH Inc invited Hashers from kennels all over Brisbane to celebrate their 100th run

Schnapps and Stubby were the Hares for the 100th run, two trails were set in the Samford State Forest. The runners and walker met half way, they all enjoyed views of the Glass House Mountains.
The horn arrived with Private Parts, it was a welcome addition to the run and kept the pack together.
Pre run banter between Hashers from different kennels
Hash boutique with raffle by Skidmark and Sherpa, the new Hash shirts were very popular.
Pizza looked very fetching in his new attire, it is clear that he enjoyed Flower's assistance.
Tess and her colourful pack.
GM Flower called for the circle and as usual sang some wonderfully rude songs to an adoring audience.
Various sinners were called forward to receive their Down Downs, here are Baggins and Sherpa
Skidmark's paraphernalia enlivened the circle,  Two Bricks skilfully used the drainpipe to avoid spillage.
All Shaven seems to have decided to try the impossible, the result was inevitable.
Schnapps was challenged to consume her Down Down without hands, she plucked it up from the ground with no spillage.
GM Flower called upon Skidmark to bake the hash cake for dessert, Verbal D was sentenced to be the bakers boy.
Honey was added to the flour and egg mixture.
The ingredients were mixed together, a candle was lit and Verbal D had to hold still till the cake matured
As we can see the result was a perfectly baked cake which was lovingly decorated and then consumed by all. A big thank you to all the Hashers that came along and made this such a great afternoon. On On

Samford SH3 Inc Celebrates the 100th RUN on SUNDAY 4 September 2016

Samford Hash House Harriers Inc invites Hashers to celebrate

Photos from our last run
We gathered near the Toohey Forest to celebrate our Hares farewell to MacGregor
Our Hares, Too Mature and Big Ears lead us to all the best sights that Toohey Forest has to offer. It was a great trail, had  plenty of hills, good checks and cunning false trails. Thanks to their efforts we all had a good work out, Tess had a swim and most of us benefited from her shower.
We welcomed WTFIC and visitors from Hong Kong and China, thanks for your company. To keep us warm Schnapps had made a Gluehwein and it went down a treat.
Verbal D will soon depart for Fiji, Bite n Suck is in the process of fitting him out in a grass skirt.
Florence and Anita loved the run and contributed a spicy stir fry to the excellent dinner provided by the Hares, see you in Hong Kong soon. Thanks to everybody, we all we had a great evening.

Location: Meet in the Carpark situated between Kessels Rd and Mains Rd, Nathan Campus. UBD page 200 - P/11.

Time: still 4 PM on Sunday, 7 August 2016

Our last run:

There was some confusion as to which side of the road we should start from, but then we caught sight of the sign!
Our Hares that afternoon were Bite n Suck and Verbal Diarrhoea. The trail was set among the hills and creeks of the Gap with clever checks to keep the pack together. We remembered how long VD's last run was and wondered if this one would be a Bridge Too Far. It turned out to be just right, most of it covered new ground which we all enjoyed.
We had 2 Chefs that evening, one Chef had prepared Steak Tartare
The other Chef had prepared pumpkin soup followed by roast pork with all the trimmings. This was by far the most popular dish but only because it was such a chilly night
Skiddy did a fund raising raffle, Flower sang some songs and we topped off the evening by celebrating the Anniversary of Skidmark and Sherpa. Thanks to you all, enjoy!

Tess marked the spot. Grouse Sheila had set the trail in Toohey Forest, it was so cold we hoped she had included plenty of  hills. We were not disappointed and soon began to warm up, some clever false trails kept the runners busy as those behind kept up a brisk pace. The drink stop included some fire water and other goodies.
We gathered around
Grouse Sheila was thanked for the run and we all told her there were not enough hills.
We welcomed Triple J and Kick It to our Hash, thanks for bringing your humour.
Tail and Skidmark were joint winners of the Toohey Masonic Lodge hand shaking competition. Then we had down downs, songs from Flower, after which we all enjoyed Grouse Sheila's kitchen.

Flower's run:

Yes some of us do run
We gathered around the only flower that we saw on the run. It was a carefully planned run in attractive bushland with well set checks that nobody found. We all enjoyed the views from the summit and hoped that Alyssa Azar would feel the same emotion that rippled amongst us that day.
Much later, when we reached Base Camp, we gathered around and swopped our stories
We had the pleasure of welcoming Tail to SH3 and then dined on a delightful chicken dish that Flower had slaved over all afternoon, thanks Flower.
